Define your brand once, use it in every artifact
Design System keeps a brand's light and dark colors, fonts, text styles, spacing, corner and shadow values, logos and images in one place. It opens in the browser as a live style guide, and you edit the values in a panel.
Slides, Design, Dashboard and HTML artifacts install a copy of the system, so their output carries the brand's look. Make a system your default and new slides, design and dashboard artifacts get it automatically. When the source changes, the copy stays as it is until you pull the update.
What you can do
- Define light and dark colors with groups and descriptions.
- Upload fonts or import them from Google Fonts; the files are fetched once and stored, so no reader's browser contacts Google.
- Set text styles and the spacing, corner radius and shadow scales.
- Add logos and images with dark background versions; write a usage guide in the README.
- Pick a default system and new slides, designs and dashboards get it automatically.
