# How to share an HTML page from Claude Code

Ask Claude Code to publish the page as a blink artifact and it returns a link that anyone you choose can open in a browser and comment on. The address stays the same however many times the agent updates the page.

## 1. Try it without an account

Run this once in your terminal to add a trial server to Claude Code:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http blink-try https://artifact.blinkbrosai.com/try/mcp
```

Start a new Claude Code session and ask:

```text
Publish this report as a single HTML page and give me the link.
```

A page published this way is public to anyone with the link and expires after 7 days. The agent also gives you a claim link: open it and sign in to move the page into a free account so it is kept.

## 2. Connect your account

For private pages, comments and live editing, connect your account. Create a token in the [app](/app) under **Agent connection**, then install the plugin inside Claude Code:

```text
/plugin install blink-artifact --marketplace blinkbrosai/blink-artifact-plugins
```

Start a new session afterwards so Claude Code loads the tools. The [Claude Code](/docs/claude-code) page covers adding the server by hand, and [/connect](/connect) has the same steps in one place.

## 3. Publish the page

Ask for something concrete:

```text
Turn the test results in this folder into an HTML report and publish it as a blink artifact.
```

Claude Code reads the authoring guide with `get_skill`, publishes the page with `publish_html` and replies with a link such as `https://artifact.blinkbrosai.com/<id>`. A new artifact is private: only you and the people you invite can open it.

## 4. Share the link

Open **Share** on the artifact, set **General access** to **Anyone with the link** and pick the role: viewer, commenter or editor. You can also say "make the link public" and the agent turns it on with `share_link`. See [Sharing & roles](/docs/sharing) for invites by email, link passwords and expiry.

## 5. Collect comments

People with the commenter role can comment on the whole page or on a single element. Ask Claude Code to read the comments and fix the page; it republishes to the same address. See [Comments](/docs/comments), and [Ask an agent](/docs/asks) if you want readers to be able to put questions to your agent.

## Limits

The free plan allows 3 active artifacts at a time, with no card needed. Pro removes that limit. People you invite do not need Pro.
