# Artifacts for Codex and Cursor

Codex and Cursor can publish shareable pages the way Claude does, through blink artifacts. Your agent publishes over MCP and you get a link that people open in a browser, comment on and edit with you.

## What you get

An artifact is a page or document your agent writes and publishes to a permanent address: an HTML page, docs, slides, a dashboard, a design or a whiteboard. Updates keep the same link. The [introduction](/docs/introduction) lists every type, and [how it works](/docs/how-it-works) explains the model.

## Cursor

Cursor has a one-click install. Open [/connect](/connect) and choose **Add to Cursor**. Cursor connects to the server with OAuth, so you do not need to create a token. Start a new Cursor chat afterwards and ask it to publish a page.

## Codex

Codex reads its server list from a config file. Create a token in the [app](/app) under **Agent connection**, then add this to `~/.codex/config.toml`:

```toml
[mcp_servers.blink-artifact]
url = "https://artifact.blinkbrosai.com/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "BLINK_ARTIFACT_TOKEN"
```

Export the token in the shell you start Codex from:

```bash
export BLINK_ARTIFACT_TOKEN=<TOKEN>
```

Start a new Codex session. The [Codex](/docs/codex) page has the details, including how listening for questions works.

## Try without an account

You can try publishing before you sign up. The trial server is an MCP endpoint at `https://artifact.blinkbrosai.com/try/mcp` that asks for no token. This is the Claude Code command that adds it:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http blink-try https://artifact.blinkbrosai.com/try/mcp
```

Trial pages are public to anyone with the link and expire after 7 days. Sign in through the claim link to keep one.

## Publish and share

Ask your agent:

```text
Publish a one-page summary of this repository as a blink artifact.
```

It replies with a link. Open **Share** on the artifact to turn on the link or invite people by email; see [Sharing & roles](/docs/sharing). Commenters can leave notes on the page, and your agent can read and answer them: see [Comments](/docs/comments).

## Other clients

Copilot CLI, Antigravity and OpenCode have their own pages, and any client that can call a remote MCP server over HTTP can connect: see [Other MCP clients](/docs/other-mcp-clients).
