You can start for free. Pro removes the limit on active artifacts.

## Free plan

The free plan includes 3 active artifacts at a time, with no card needed. Only artifacts you own count; artifacts shared with you do not, and deleted artifacts free their slot right away. When you reach the limit, creating another artifact fails with `quota_exceeded`.

## Pro

Pro costs **$5 per month** or **$48 per year**, which saves 20% compared with monthly. Prices exclude tax; tax is added at checkout based on your country.

## Free trial

Your first Pro subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, once per account. Checkout asks for a card. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.

## Subscribing

Choose a plan in the app and confirm the subscription. Before paying you accept the pre-information form and the distance sales contract, and confirm that the subscription starts immediately. Payment is handled by Stripe, and a company can enter its tax ID at checkout.

## Managing or canceling

**Manage plan** in the app opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can change your payment method or cancel. After canceling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

## When Pro ends

If you have more than 3 active artifacts when Pro ends, your artifacts stay viewable but editing is turned off until you subscribe again or delete artifacts down to three.
